Probate is a court-supervised process through which a decedent’s assets are distributed to heirs or named beneficiaries. Estates will generally go through probate when a loved one dies intestate, or without a will, or with a will. An executor will be appointed during the probate process. At The Law Offices of Angela Habeebullah, we have represented countless estate executors. The executor is given an important and complex task. We ensure the executor performs his or her duty to the letter of the law. We also represent will beneficiaries or would be beneficiaries who were not included in a will, or whose loved one died intestate. Additionally, we can assist in estate planning.
Civil litigation is an integral part of the practice of law, and for boutique firms specializing in bankruptcy, probate/estate planning, tax dispute resolution, mediation, and traffic law, it can be particularly important. We may rely on civil litigation to help our clients resolve disputes or enforce agreements. We may also need to litigate on behalf of our clients to protect them from creditors.
